Empowering families through comprehensive, neurodiversity-affirming assessments

Our Mission

At IRIS Autism and Developmental Services, we empower individuals and families by enabling early intervention through timely and comprehensive psychological assessments for autism and developmental delays. Our mission is to unlock potential, foster understanding, and contribute to a brighter future for all. Join us in building a thriving community where every life shines brighter.

Our Approach

Family-Centered Care

We partner with families throughout the assessment process, ensuring your voice is heard and your concerns are addressed.

Evidence-Based Assessment Tools

We use gold-standard assessment tools like ADOS-2, WISC-V, and Vineland-3 to ensure accurate and comprehensive evaluations.

Neurodiversity-Affirming Practices

We honor each child's unique neurotype, focusing on understanding and supporting strengths rather than pathologizing differences.

Collaborative Relationship

We work alongside families as partners, sharing knowledge and expertise to support each child's journey.

Commitment to Accessibility

We accept Medicaid and most insurance plans, ensuring quality assessments are accessible to all families who need them.

Dorina Mohite is a Licensed Psychologist who provides comprehensive evaluations for autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. Her work is guided by a neuroaffirming, strength-based philosophy that honors each child's individuality.

Dorina brings a trauma-aware lens to her assessments, recognizing how early experiences can shape development, while keeping the focus on understanding and supporting the child—not pathologizing them. Her doctoral research explored behavioral differences in autistic girls, deepening her insight into how autism presents across diverse identities.

Outside of her clinical work, Dorina is a watercolor artist who shares her creative process as a way to model self-acceptance and joy. She believes that understanding begins with connection—and IRIS is her way of making that connection accessible to every family.
